1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the vp-fun.com network ("vp-fun," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Verbena Projects LLC, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the vp-fun.com hub and its associated tools and apps.

The vp-fun.com network includes the following properties:

2. Information We Collect

Account registration. Most vp-fun tools require an account. When you register, we collect your username, email address, and a password. Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing and are never stored in plaintext.

Tool-specific data. Each app stores the data you create while using it:

• Jyotish Dashboard — birth date, time, and location data you enter to generate Vedic astrology charts.
• THC Tracker — cannabis consumption entries including method, product, dose, strain type, effects, and notes. See Section 4 for THC Tracker's additional privacy protections.
• Lil Calorie Counter — meal entries including name, calories, macros, and optional food images used for AI analysis.
• Recipe Generator — recipe prompts and generated results.
• Luminary Video — video generation prompts, settings, and generated video files.

Signup and feedback forms. The shared footer on all vp-fun sites includes optional signup and feedback forms. Submissions are stored in our internal contact management system (LilCRM). Submissions are routed through a server-side proxy — your email address and form data are never exposed in browser requests.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and provide the tools and features of each app
• To authenticate your account and maintain your session
• To send account-related emails (registration confirmation, password reset)
• To process AI analysis requests (see Section 5 for third-party AI services)
• To respond to feedback and support requests
• To detect and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data. We do not use your personal data or tool content for advertising purposes.

4. THC Tracker — Additional Privacy Protections

THC Tracker is designed with enhanced privacy protections given the sensitive nature of cannabis consumption data.

• User IDs are random UUIDs — not sequential integers that could be used to infer account volume or ordering.
• Your consumption journal data is private to your account. No other users or admins can view your entries.
• The admin dashboard displays only aggregate statistics and basic account metadata (username, join date, last login). No consumption data is ever visible to admins.
• You can export all your entries as JSON at any time via the app.
• You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings. Deletion is immediate and cascades all entries and products.

5. Third-Party AI Services

Several vp-fun tools send user input to third-party AI services to generate results. By using these features, you acknowledge that your input is transmitted to these services:

• OpenAI (openai.com/privacy) — Used by Lil Calorie Counter for meal analysis (text descriptions and food photos). Also used by Recipe Generator for recipe creation.
• Google Gemini (policies.google.com/privacy) — Used by Luminary Video for AI video generation. Video prompts and any reference images you upload are sent to Google's Gemini API.

We send only the minimum data necessary to generate results. We do not send your account information, email address, or other personal details to these services. However, any content you include in a prompt or image may be subject to the AI provider's data practices. We recommend not including sensitive personal information in prompts.

6. Cookies and Browser Storage

vp-fun apps use the following browser storage mechanisms:

• Session cookies — used to maintain your login state while you are using an app. These are httponly and set with SameSite=Lax for security.
• localStorage — some apps use localStorage to remember your last-used settings or preferences (such as last selected method in THC Tracker). This data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
• sessionStorage — used by the OJOS ad system (loaded on vp-fun pages) to track ad frequency within a single browser session. This data is temporary and deleted when you close the tab.

We do not use persistent tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Other Third-Party Services

• Brevo (brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy) — Transactional email delivery for account notifications and password reset emails.
• Google Fonts (policies.google.com/privacy) — Font delivery. Loading Google Fonts may result in your IP address being logged by Google.
• PayPal (paypal.com) — Optional donations via the footer donate button open a PayPal payment page. We receive only confirmation of the donation; PayPal handles all payment data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data and tool content for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within each app's settings. Deletion is permanent and removes all associated data.

Signup and feedback form submissions are retained in our contact management system until you request removal by contacting us at info@verbenaprojects.com.

9. Security

All accounts use bcrypt password hashing. THC Tracker applies additional AES-256-CBC encryption to email addresses. All connections to vp-fun.com and its subdomains use HTTPS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.

10. Children's Privacy

vp-fun.com tools are free and general-audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. THC Tracker is intended for adults in jurisdictions where cannabis use is legal. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, contact us at info@verbenaprojects.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Your Rights

You may access, update, export, or delete your data at any time from within each app. To request removal of contact form or signup data from our CRM, contact us at info@verbenaprojects.com. We will respond within 30 days.

12. International Users

vp-fun.com is operated from the United States. If you access our tools from outside the United States, your data will be processed in the United States. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of vp-fun tools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
